AGY JOB APPLICATION & CANDIDATE AGREEMENT

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGY) and the applicant (“You” or “Your”) in connection with your interest in applying for a job, internship, volunteer role, or contract position within the organization.

By accessing the AGY Team application platform, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of the following terms, which are binding throughout the application and onboarding process.

  1. Purpose of this Agreement

This Agreement ensures that all job applicants:

  • Submit authentic, verifiable, and complete information.
  • Understand their responsibilities and expectations when applying to join AGY.
  • Acknowledge AGY’s right to evaluate, verify, and make employment decisions based on merit, organizational fit, and funding capacity.
  1. Scope of Application

This agreement applies to all opportunities listed under the “Join the AGY Team” section, including:

  • Full-time or part-time employment
  • Volunteer service
  • Internships or fellowships
  • Contract or project-based roles

By clicking “I Agree,” you affirm that you are submitting your application voluntarily and truthfully.

 

TERMS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Applicant Responsibilities

You agree that:

  • All information submitted in your resume, cover letter, and application form is true and free from misrepresentation.
  • You have the qualifications or experience necessary for the role you are applying for.
  • You consent to AGY contacting any referees, institutions, or former employers listed in your application.
  • You will not attempt to influence or manipulate AGY’s recruitment process through bribes, favors, or false claims.

If selected for a role, you further agree to:

  • Fulfill your duties professionally and ethically.
  • Uphold AGY’s values of transparency, integrity, and service.
  • Respect workplace confidentiality and data privacy laws.
  • Complete all onboarding, training, and reporting processes required by AGY.
  1. AGY Rights and Conditions

AGY reserves the right to:

  • Disqualify any applicant who provides false or misleading information.
  • Conduct background checks or credential verifications when necessary.
  • Adjust job listings, responsibilities, and salaries based on budgetary or program changes.
  • End recruitment or withdraw a position without prior notice.

Employment or volunteer service with AGY is not guaranteed until a formal offer letter is issued and accepted.

  1. Confidentiality and Conduct
  • If hired, you will be bound by AGY’s Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and other HR policies.
  • Any breach of policy, ethical standards, or trust may result in termination or legal action.
  • AGY maintains a zero-tolerance policy for fraud, abuse, or harassment.
