Our Model
A workable and practical approach to ending extreme poverty
We are an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation in support of working together with everyone around the world (both Ghanaians and Non-Ghanaians) in making Ghana a Great country. Working together with everyone to empower individuals, cities, towns, and communities etc. to effect change and build a strong network that will eventually lead to the total elimination of poverty in Ghana.
Our approach is by redeveloping communities in the country by providing Agricultural Jobs which will provide employment for the people and use the proceeds to rebuild the communities into modern structures, providing them with quality healthcare facilities, modern structure schools with up to standard computer labs, libraries etc. and improving the livelihood of individuals in Ghana.
The Model
• Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGYF) identifies various communities that are willing to partner with us to fight poverty by engaging the Chiefs and opinion leaders in these communities
• Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGYF)send its team to hold various engagement and discussions with the leaders of the communities on a possible collaboration or partnership
• After broad consultation with the leadership of our partnering communities ,an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is signed
• Official partnership is initiated between the community and AGY
• After broad consultation with the communities and agreement reached ,we then proceed to officially formalize the businesses we establish in our partnering communities through business registration
• After registering the businesses ,we the proceed to open official bank account for the business
• After establishing official partnership, Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGYF) sends its team of researchers to go into our partnering communities to undertake extensive research on suitable business for the community
• Findings of this research is then discussed and presented to the steering committee ( a committee that represents the interest of our partnering communities ) to provide inputs and feedback
• Proceeds made from the various community businesses are invested solely for redevelopment of our partnering community
• Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGYF) team in collaboration with the community steering committee develops tender document for the redevelopment of the community
• Various contractors are then invited to bid and win the redevelopment construction of the community
• Community redevelopment Projects are then awarded to deserving contractors to begin redevelopment of the community
• Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGYF) employs people from the community to work in the community business
• Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGYF) believes in capacity building and getting quality man power to work in achieving our objectives of eradicating poverty
• We provide invaluable coaching and mentoring to our team in various communities to ensure they are equipped and have the necessary skills and know how to manage the business
• All communities that partner with AGY are brought under AGY network for inter-community business transactions
• Goods ,services and products produced under the AGY community businesses are traded between the communities
• It’s a must that all communities must endeavor to trade among themselves
