PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGY) and the Business Owner/Applicant (“You” or “Your”), in connection with your request to register your business through AGY’s Business Network platform.

By proceeding, you agree to the following terms and conditions governing your use of the platform, the submission of business data, and AGY’s role in representing your business in its national programs and partnerships.

1. Purpose of Registration

The purpose of this business registration service is to:

• Officially add your business to the AGY Business Network.
• Enable access to AGY services such as funding, training, mentorship, and publicity.
• Facilitate possible partnerships with national and international investors, donors, and institutions.

2. Scope of AGY Services

Upon successful registration, AGY may:

• Include your business in regional and national directories.
• Recommend your business for grants, events, or training.
• Contact you regarding partnership opportunities or support services.
• Maintain a database record of your business profile and documents.

AGY does not offer legal incorporation or trademark/patent protection. You are solely responsible for ensuring your business complies with Ghanaian laws and regulations.

 

 

TERMS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3. Responsibilities of the Applicant

By signing this agreement, you confirm that:

• All submitted business information is accurate and lawful.
• You are authorized to act on behalf of the business and provide its legal documents.
• You understand that submitting false or misleading information may result in removal from AGY’s network or legal consequences.

You further agree to:

• Notify AGY if any major changes occur in ownership, operations, or registration status.
• Use the AGY platform responsibly and not misrepresent AGY’s role or brand.
• Cooperate with AGY should your business be recommended for funding, sponsorship, or support.

4. AGY Rights and Limitations

AGY reserves the right to:

• Verify the authenticity of submitted documents and business credentials.
• Deny or revoke registration if the business is found to engage in illegal or unethical activity.
• Publish summaries or profiles of your business on AGY platforms (with your consent).
• Recommend your business for programs based on alignment with AGY’s development goals.

AGY does not:

• Guarantee business success, funding, or legal endorsement.
• Provide legal representation for disputes or liability claims.

5. Disclaimers

• AGY is not liable for any business losses, disputes, or third-party issues arising from your operations.
• AGY does not represent you in tax matters, patent disputes, or corporate conflicts.
• Business registration on AGY’s platform is not equivalent to registration with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana.

 

 

CONSENT, PRIVACY, AND DIGITAL ACCEPTANCE

6. Privacy and Data Use

• Your submitted data will be stored in AGY’s secured database and shared only with relevant departments or partner institutions for program-related activities.
• You consent to receiving AGY-related updates, invitations, funding announcements, or network notifications via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.

7. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

• AGY holds no responsibility for the intellectual property rights of your submitted brand names, logos, or products.
• It is your sole responsibility to secure legal protection for your business identity through Ghana’s trademark and patent institutions.

8. Agreement to Proceed

By clicking “I Agree”:

• You declare that you are the rightful owner or legal representative of the business being registered.
• You accept all the terms outlined in this agreement.
• You authorize AGY to include your business in its national network and to process your documents accordingly.

If you do not agree with these terms, you may not proceed with registration.
