AGY NETWORK MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the Arise Ghana Youth Foundation (AGY) and the individual (“You” or “Your”) who wishes to become a registered member of the AGY Network.
By joining the AGY Network through the subscription platform, you agree to the terms outlined below, which govern your membership, responsibilities, and use of the AGY platform and communications.
- Purpose of the AGY Network
The AGY Network is a national community of young people, entrepreneurs, professionals, volunteers, and stakeholders who:
- Support AGY’s mission of youth empowerment, economic development, and social transformation.
- Wish to receive updates, opportunities, events, and educational materials.
- Seek to participate in community projects, forums, and capacity-building programs.
Your membership in the AGY Network is free and voluntary.
- Scope of Membership Benefits
As a member, you may:
- Receive newsletters, updates, and invitations via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
- Access opportunities such as trainings, funding alerts, volunteer projects, and local AGY events.
- Be eligible for network-exclusive programs such as mentorship, business spotlights, or regional leadership academies.
Membership does not imply AGY employment, funding guarantee, or endorsement unless separately agreed upon.
TERMS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Member Responsibilities
By becoming a member of the AGY Network, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and current information when completing the sign-up form.
- Engage with the network respectfully and avoid spreading false, abusive, or offensive content.
- Represent AGY positively when participating in forums, events, or group communications.
- Respect the privacy and views of other members within AGY discussion spaces.
You also agree:
- Not to misuse AGY branding or falsely represent yourself as a staff member or official spokesperson.
- Not to use the platform to promote illegal, unethical, or violent agendas.
- Communication & Opt-Out
- By joining, you consent to receiving communications from AGY via your selected contact method.
- You may unsubscribe or opt-out at any time by following the link provided in emails or sending a request to the AGY admin.
AGY is not liable for any missed opportunities once you opt out of communications.
- Code of Conduct
- Members are expected to uphold AGY’s values: unity, honesty, service, empowerment, and accountability.
- Inappropriate behavior may result in your removal from the network, temporary suspension from programs, or blocked access to future opportunities.
PRIVACY, CONSENT & DIGITAL ACCEPTANCE
- Data Protection and Privacy
- Your personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- AGY commits to keeping your data secure and using it only for communication, research, and program-related purposes.
- Your data may be shared with trusted AGY departments or program partners where necessary, but never sold or misused.
- Intellectual Property and Media Consent
- You grant AGY permission to use photos or testimonials you voluntarily share for promotional or awareness purposes.
- Any intellectual property you submit (e.g., ideas, project concepts) remains yours unless a separate agreement is signed.
- Agreement to Join

- You confirm that you wish to join the AGY Network voluntarily.
- You understand your responsibilities as a member and AGY’s role in managing the network.
- You authorize AGY to communicate with you using your provided information.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed.
